Viviana Corvaia

My goal is to tell redemption stories where main characters are women, children, human rights. Tales about what happens around us to dive inside us.

I realize it is my mission to leverage photography as a tool to give them voice, so that they can change the world one heart after the other.

I started taking pictures as a child, with the desire to reconstruct a familiar mosaic of images lost during a move. A memory lost forever, and for me l loved looking at family photos, an immersive pain. When I was 12, I received my first camera as a gift and that was the beginning. My interest are mainly focused on reportage, documentary and social photography. In 2016 I started a volunteer project for the organization of photographic workshop for children. The goal was to collect cameras to be used during the workshop and give them away at the end.

The workshops were held in India, Nepal and Italy.
